About Compass Prep Academy

Compass Prep Academy is a K–12 micro-hybrid academy in Canton, Georgia, created for students who learn best with a personalized plan and a supportive team. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a fresh start, we meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence.

Founded in 2005, Compass Prep combines the flexibility families want with the structure students need. Our educators and staff partner with parents to build learning experiences tailored to each student’s strengths, goals, and pace—supporting both academic growth and personal development.

Compass Prep is fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) (accredited since 2009). We’re also proud to provide HOPE-accredited transcripts for homeschool students through our Directed Studies Program.

Directed Studies Program (DSP)
Our Directed Studies Program is designed for students who learn at home but want an accredited private school transcript, academic advising, and a clear path to graduation. With guidance from Compass Prep, families select curriculum and complete coursework at home while we support planning, documentation, and transcript services.
