Our Founder
In 2005, Laura George founded Compass Prep with a vision to create a learning environment catering to all learning styles. Her motivation was to ensure that everyone, including her expanding family, felt embraced and included. With 11 children, Laura has wholeheartedly embraced the homeschooling community and now serves as Executive Director of the Compass Prep Board.

With a team of dedicated educators and staff, Compass Prep has been providing quality education since 2005. Our K-12 micro hybrid academy in Canton, GA offers a supportive and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and personally.As a fully accredited institution recognized by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) since 2009, we are proud to offer HOPE accredited transcripts for homeschool students. Our Directed Studies program ensures that you receive a comprehensive education that prepares you for future success.
